A detailed lesson that starts by looking at Jesus Baptism by John the Baptist. The lesson then looks at the two types of baptism complete with a collaborative learning activity. There’s a suggested video clip and instructions. I have also included an opportunity for debate as regards the age someone should be baptised. I have designed a mat for the new 9-1 course that contains some of the key Christian biblical teachings and a few other sources of authority, to use when looking at Christian beliefs. I thought it would be helpful in students revision or as a reference point for the writing of the C and D questions.
